Magnetic particles in the size range of 100 nm to 100 µm are suitable for the separation at permanent magnets. They are available with different matrix materials:

  • dextran

  • crosslinked dextran

  • silica-fortified dextran

  • bionized nanoferrite ( 100 nm)

  • polystyrene

  • poly(lactic acid) (PLA)

  • silica

  • chitosan

  • poly(ethylene imine)

  • Iron oxide particles

Smaller magnetic particles with diameters of 20 nm to 100 nm require a separation in a high gradient magnetic field or via size exclusion chromatography. They are available with biocompatible polysaccharide coatings:

  • dextran

  • crosslinked dextran

  • bionized nanoferrite (80 nm)

Please choose a matrix material for your special selection of functional groups /coatings and diameters of the particles.
